BLUE HOUSES AND WEST'S COTTAGES (Nov 03 Red)
Greetings from a curious fox downunder. My late father in law was born in one of the Blue Houses near St Mary's church in Chadwell St Mary in 1886. He later moved next door to one of the West's cottages and was in residence on the census of 1891. Can anyone tell me if these cottages were owned by the church and rented out to the poor? Are they still standing? Would love to hear from you. Virginia.

John Suckling and Rosetta Kemp were married 27 August 1843, at St Mary's Church, Chadwell, Essex. Any sighting of this couple in Census records of 1841 or 1851 would be much appreciated.
