I am trying for any information about my great-grandfather. Born October 1862 in Ceres. He married Alice Henderson in 1884 and they had 4 children, James b.1885, Alice b.1890, Margaret b.1895, Andrew b.1898 (my grandfather) According to the 1901 census, Andrew was a printer who lived in Beaverhall Terrace in Edinburgh. I believe his father was called James Aitken and his mother was Sarah (nee Rodgers)

John Nairn married Elizabeth Williams in Ceres on 15 May 1840. They had a daughter, Euphemia, born 27 July 1843. Can anybody tell me about the ancestors of these two, their dates of birth, other children and what happened to them?

Brand And Scott (8/02-10/03 Red)
Given the genelaogical research that I have been able to do on his family line, his grandfather (Robert Birrell Watson) was born to James Watson (son of James Watson and Elspeth Salter) and Margaret Birrell (daughter of Robert Birrell and Margaret Imrie Watson) of Cellardyke in County Fife. Robert was born on July 26, 1882. He married Janet (Jessie) Donaldson Scott, daughter of John Scott and Jane Brand (married in Ceres in County Fife on January 16, 1868) on July 23, 1914 in Leith, Edinburgh. They immigrated to Nova Scotia. I am hoping to make contact with distant Watson family members on behalf of my brother-in-law. I am also interested in expanding my knowledge re John Scott (born 1845 to James Scott and Margaret Cunningham)and Jane Brand (born 1840 to Smart Brand and Isabella Wilson).
