I am seeking any inforamtion about people living either past or present on the island with the suname HARRISS. Especially Karla and Herbert HARRISS. Herbert died 1981 in St Josephs Hackney. Karla died about 2007 in Sweetbriar Canvey Island not sure if there were any children. Many thanks.

HE WENT TO SCHOOL WITH DONALD VICKERS IN THE 1950'S AND 1960'S AT CANVEY ISLAND.WE THINK HE MAY HAVE OWNED THE LOCAL SERVICE STATION AFTER LEAVING SCHOOL.ANYONE WITH INFORMATION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. HE WOULD BE ABOUT 56/57 YEARS OF AGE.

JENNINGS FAMILY (Mar 06 Green)
Interested in hearing from anyone with Jennings ancestors. Robert Jennings was born about 1834 and was originally from Steeple, married Emma Beal and, after living in various places around Steeple, ended up at Southwick Farm, Canvey Island. Children were Robert William Beal (born out of wedlock), Alfred Albert, Charles Walter, Elizabeth Hannah, Ernest, George Edward,Harry, James, Samuel and William John.
