I am trying to contact lost relitives,the above lived in Canewdon in 1951,He went to London as his Mother had Died,he was the informant on her Death Certificate. Where is Alfreds Family now I would love to meet them,I was Born in 1931 time is running out for me,Alfred was my Uncle,his Mother was my Grandmother. My thanks to anyone who can help.

Cannot find Torley Birth (Dec 07 Red)
20 May 1855 at CANEWDON James Torley married Eliza Summers. On the marriage certificate James' father was Joseph Torley and Eliza's father was William Summers. I cannot find any information of either family beyond this record Can anyone help me?

Whitwell in Canewdon and Prittlewell (Feb 04 Red)
James Whitwell b. abt 1736 in Canewdon marr. Mary Prentice in 1768, then Susanna Sudbury in 1782. Son James b.1768 marr. Maria Merritt. Ten Whitwell children born in Canewdon between 1797 & 1819 including Thomas Whitwell in 1814. Thomas marr.Martha Ann Killworth in 1832 in Canewdon.
