I understand from census records, that my gt gt grandfather, Michael O Brien was born in Dungarvan around 1849. His marriage certificate, gives his father's name as Patrick.I believe he arrived in Lancashire as a young man, and he later married Mary Kennedy, the daughter of Irish parents in Ashton in Makerfield in 1879. Does anyone have ancestors named O Brien, or a similar version of this name, from Dungarven, regards Christine

GOING TO DUNGARVAN ON THE 13 OF APRIL 2008 AND WILL BE TRYING TO MEET SOME LOST COUSINS WHO KNEW MY GGRANDMOTHER CATH HENNESSEY/O'BRIEN WHO HAD A GROCER SHOP IN DUNGARVAN IN THE LATE 1800'S SHE WENT TO NYC AFTER AND HAD 2 DAUGHTERS MARGARET AND MAE.

My great Grandfather, John Wall 1806-1892, married a woman also surnamed Wall, possibly Catherine. Their son Michael married Ellen Power b. 1870, daughter of Thomas Power and Mary Keaver, 1846 - ? in 1867. they also had a son Jeffrey (sp?) born 1868 who emigrated to America around 1890. Does anybody know any more about the family, siblings, etc?
