green mail Higgins/Walsh/Cotter/McGrath (May 09 Green)
My great grandfather William Higgins b.1858(siblings were Eliza,John,Michael,Edmond and Peter) married Honora Walsh (from Ballinoe,Co Waterford) in St.Colman's in Cobh. They had Edward b1882,Elizabeth, Peter,MaryEllen, Hanora b1887 all baptized in Cobh but identify Cappoquin as home on ship manifests when they emigrated to Philadelphia, PA in USA. William's father was also a William who married Elizabeth Cotter.I'm not sure where she was originally from. Honora Walsh (b1859ish) was the daughter of Edmond Walsh and Mary McGrath (from Modeligo). I know William, Michael and Peter went to school at Melleray. Michael later went to Australia for a gold rush(?) Does this make sense to anyone?

green mail Richardson (Revised Sep 07 Green)
My grandfather, Frederick Richardson, wife Harriett and his family lived in Cappoquin around 1906 - 1908. Oldest son, Cecil attended school there and the youngest, born in Cappoquin, died at two months old. Any further information would be welcome
