red mail culton and maclean (Nov 09 Red)
looking for information on william Culton, farmer and his family Ellen (nee maclean) and their children william, David, Ellen, James, Maria and Annie. William and his family went to Illinois in about 1861 but William junior came to Australia. I Believe Ellen and her family lived in Dyan and her Maclean family who came to Australia in the late 1850s gave Caledon as their place of birth. Any assistance with both the Culton and Maclean families would be appreciated.

red mail james hagan and sarah lester (Apr 07 Red)
James Hagan emigrated to Australia in 1838 with his wife Sarah (Lester) and children William b 1836 and James b. 1838. His parents were Thomas Hagan an overseer on the Ulster canal, and Hannah Marley. Sarah's parents were William Lester a farmer and Rebecca Haddock who was a quaker. The Lesters were from Armagh and lived in Palnagh House, Killylea. I would like to hear from any members of these families.
