green mail Martin WHITE and Bridget FOLEY/FLEMING (Apr 09 Green)
Martin White married Bridget Foley(some times listed as Fleming). They came from Broadford village, Gortnagounella, Kinseily, Limerick. Martin was still living in 1855 but Bridget had died some time before that. They had at least 4 children- Michael, Catherine, Bridget and Margaret. All 4 emigrated to Australia. Margaret, my great grandmother, together with her sister Catherine, arrived in Geelong in 1855 on the "Maria Hay".Michael came separately with his wife.Bridget came a little later. All 4 eventually settled in New South Wales.Margaret, my gt.gd-mother, married William Foster in Parramatta in 1862. Contact with any descendants or information about any of Martin and Bridget's family who remained in Ireland or those who emigrated would be appreciated.
