green mail Bollands of Palmerston Road c 1870s (Apr 08 Green)
My great grandparents Abijah & Elizabeth BOLLAND lived on Palmerston Road in 1871 census, with their daughter Rose. He was a GARDENER, not a domestic one, so does anyone know of any LARGE GARDEN where he could have been employed in that area. Any information about the family or area in the 1870s would be welcome.
