Coffey, Limerick (Aug 09 Red)
My grandmothers brother William Coffey b. 1919 joined the Irish army in 1936 and was stationed in Donegal.He married there and had a child abt.1937. His wife's Father got him work on the Scottish Railway aprox 1942.He didn't make contact with his family after that.I have no other details on William himself but everything on his family.Hope I can get some info which will trace him for his sister Angela my granaunt.Thank you...

Im looking for any info on the origin of my GGGrandfather Michael Carroll born abt 1859 in county Limerick and was married to Mary Houlihan in 1893 in Limerick.It is possibally Ballingarry,Croom or Bruff area where he came from. On their marriage cert his father was Michael also and was a Coachman by trade as was he.Also on the marriage cert as a witness was Patrick Carroll who could be a brother or uncle.Michael lived in Short Ave Limerick in 1901 and naughton's lane in 1911 and Windmill Street from 1917 on.He had 6 children , Mary(May) b.1894,Christina b,1896, Michael b.1897,Bridget b,1901,Jane b.1902 and Josephine b.1904.And also had a grocery shop until 1950 on Windmill Street.His father was Michael which I've confirmed .Richard was his father and William was his father ,but I have yet to have certified confirmation of this.Any info would be of great help.....Thanks

Nothing known about John Reardon/Riordan, Mary a widow arrived in Australia in 1857 with her other 4 children to join her daughter Johanna. Marriage date not known, Mary was a devout Catholic in Australia.
