red mail Christopher Masterman Ford (Nov 09 Red)
I'm seeking relatives of my uncle Christopher Ford, born about 1935, the younger brother of John (Oscar john Masterman Ford), sons of Oscar John Ford and Ada Hannah Masterman. Lived in a converted/rebuilt Elizabethan cottage called Applegarth in Blackbird Lane Broxted. Christopher died as result of a car accident around 1975, leaving a daughter Alicia (from first marriage to Angela) and twin boys, who were born shortly after his death (second partner unknown). I have lost contact with this side of the family, so any light shed would be appreciated

red mail George Cowell of Broxted, Essex about 1837 (May 09 Red)
Although my convict ancestor said he was from Debden, newspaper accounts have operating as a member of a poaching gang in the Broxted area between 1835 and 1837. At the time there was also an older George Cowell, agricultural labourer, the father perhaps?) living near Broxted.. The convict was GEORGE COWELL, born about 1815, and his parents were GEORGE COWELLand MARY ANN.COWELL. There was a possible marriage for a Mary to a George Cowell in Saffron Walden but I have not been able to find the birth for George Cowell born about 1814. Any help would be much appreciated.

I am trying to find details on Thomas Baynes b:1796 who married Bathsheba Baker Jun 1812 in Broxted, Essex. Whilst Thomas stayed in Broxted, his children moved to Greenwich and settled in Greenwich.
