I should like to trace the family & ancestors of Sophia Philcox who I believe was born in Brede around 1814. She was my GG Grandmother and married a Thomas Smith, possibly in London where she was living according to the various Census. Her daughter Louisa married George Jordan.

Stephen was born in Icklesham c1817 and married Frances (Fanny) Marchant b1822. Both are burried in Brede churchyard, Fanny 1861 and Stephen 1889, with some of their 11 offspring. They resided at both Hayes (Hay's) farm and Broadlands Row. Can anyone provide info on these two places.
