Hough
(Feb 09 Green)
Does anyone know of connections between the Hough and the Hind families? The period I'm interested in is around 1800 to 1830. A Samuel Hough is a gold beater, metal worker in London in the 1820s and I believe he came from Derby. I think he is the uncle of both Sarah Hough Jones and Eliza Hough Bentley, who are living in London according to the 1841 census. He dies in Their mother is Ann Hough, who was born in 1773, but I don't know her maiden name. Samuel Hough died on 4 Dec. 1847 in London.
Mary Ann Hough and Elizabeth Hough go to America on the same ship as Ann, Sarah Jones and Eliza Bentley and their families.

Looking for parents
(Apr 08 Green)
John Clarke, pawnbroker, died in Nottingham on April 7, 1854 at the age of 56 and was buried at Epperstone, birthplace of his wife, Ann Pearson. Census information indicates he was born in Bradley, Derbyshire around 1798. Family history states that he had a brother named Samuel who had a son named Charles. The only Samuel who fits was born around 1811. Clarke/Clark is a common name in this area and I need help putting these in the correct family.
