red mail GOFF family of Bozeat & Northampton (Oct 08 Red)
I am researching my grandmother's Goff ancestors who lived in Bozeat for many generations going back to Thomas Goff, b. around 1700, farmer. Several later members were called George, and her father was a George Goff, carpenter, who lived in Northampton, having moved there by 1841. I have a copy of the story/history of the village 'Bozeat 2000' by Rev'd Philip Bligh and can do lookups for others if required, Chris

He died Feb. 17, 1719. William was buried in Bozeat. Sarah died November 27, 1727, Sarah was also buried in Bozeat. I would appreciate any help with finding the elder Thomas Pettit's parents. When I started tracing my family tree the surname was Padget, it has evolved into Paget then into Pettit. But I have been able to get a direct line as far as Thomas.
