red mail Cooke Family (Jun 07 Red)
Hi, I'm interested in the Cooke family of Bow Brickhill - I have a Joseph Cook(e) and a Thomas Cook(e) in Steppingley, Bedfordshire that have links back to Bow Brickhill. In his will, Thomas Cook (b. c1700, farmer of Steppingley) mentions his property (underfined as yet) in Bow Brickhill. I see from other websites, that the Cooke family were well known in Bow Brickhill as non-conformists and appear in the Quarter Sessions records a number of times for not attending church. Thanks for any help/light you can shed on this. Robert
