During the 1960's I spent time on my Aunt and Uncle's farm, just after the railway bridge , Blyton, near Gainsbourgh, I thought that their name was ROSE, but now I am not so sure, I do know my uncle was called Bill(William), my Aunt was Ethel ( ne Lanes ) their children Geffory and Murreen. Iwas wondering if anyone think's that they know of them. my aunt went to live in Gainsbourgh after my uncle died, thanks from Elaine.

Platt family
(Sep 05
Red)
Does anybody hold information on the Platt family living in Blyton circa 1825. They were John and Mary Platt and two daughters Eliza b 1824 and Elizabeth b 1825. I believe the family moved to Manchester soon after the girls were born. I also suspect Eliza may have died quite young.
