GEORGE HALL - NORFOLK
(Oct 09
Red)
Can anyone out there help me trace my g.grandfather, GEORGE HALL. I think he was born in Hackford, Norfolk about 1844/5. His father's name was Thomas but I don't know the name of his mother. His father worked as a farm labourer. They eventually moved to Reepham. Are Reepham and Hackford near to each other?

Blyth, Northumberland
(Oct 08
Red)
My great grandfather was a JOSIAH CURRY born 1827 in Blyth, a mariner, who married a Deborah Foreman, born 1831 in Blyth and lived with his family in Delavel Terrace. I understand that he had a brother, but cannot find any trace of him, as his christian name is not known, but believe he eventually ran a pleasure boat company. I would love to hear from anyone who has any connection with the Curry family. I am related to his son, William Foreman Curry who married Georgina Sinclair Carr. He was a headmaster at Midgeholme, and Millom, in Cumbria. Josiah also had a daughter, Phillis Foreman Curry, who married William Henry Wight, and again, would be pleased to hear from anyone from that side of the family too.

The Chandler family in Coopers Cottage Links
(Aug 07
Red)
John and Ruth Chandler lived in what we think was Coopers Cottage Links. In the 1891 census they are listed as being 36 and 38 years old. He was a coal miner. They had 5 children listed - John, Ruth, Ann, Dorothy and Thomas.
Does any one have anymore information on the family please?
