I am trying to research the family and relations of George Port who I believe was born in Blean, Kent, in or around 1811. He married a "Sarah". They had a son called William (born in 1848, albeit in London). Thanks very much.

I am looking for the family of Madeline Clifton who died aged 11 in 1867 in blean Kent . i believe her parents were Samuel and Mary clifton .Her grandmother is frances de irujo and aunt Bertha Limby . both odf them are in Shanghai 1891.I am interested in any CliftonsLimby's or de irujo. thanks jan

Samuel Cage & Family 1861-1871

Samuel Cage was born in Blean 1823. In 1848 he married Mary Ann Ashbee b1825 Whitstable. On 1861 census (indexed Cager) they are living at Ellen Dane Farm, Dunkirk and Samuel is a farm bailiff. By 1871 the family live at Canterbury Road, Bostal Hill, Whitstable and Samuel has been demoted to Ag Lab. His wife is now Maria b1818 Dunkirk. These must be two different women but I cannot find the death of Mary Ann or the marriage to Maria. Can anyone help?

She was a teacher and died aged 42 in the Lunatic Asylum Chartham.1917. I am trying to find where she taught.

My Gt. Uncle, Frank Mattock born 1874, married Florence Pout, daughter of Edward J Pout & Catherine in the Blean District in 1904. Edward J Pout & family lived and farmed at Bodkin Farm, Swalecliffe, Kent
