I am looking for any information on the House family of Beaminster. My great grandfather was George House (bc1894/5). George married Mable Larcombe (daughter of Hugh Larcombe). George's parents were called Samuel J House (bc 1858) in Beaminster and Annie House (maiden name unknown. Annie was born 1866 apparently in Merriott, somerset. Any info greatly appreciated.

I am looking for information on Joseph Barter of Dorchester, who married Elizabeth Raindle of Beaminster in 1790, witnessed by Samuel Barter of Beaminster. Joseph was my great great great grandad. Joseph's youngest son was Jonas, my great great grandad, and his eldest son Thomas went to Australia in the 1850s and married Matilda Wilkins from Ireland.

Catherine Louisa had 3 siblings David 1856, Fred 1858, George 1860. David married 1879 Christchurch Brides name unknown. George married Dorchester 1882 Ellen Jane Caines. Fred married 1885 Dorset . I'm searching for descendents of WILLIAM BENJAMIN NEWMAN, who was born 1856 in Ilminster, Somerset, but who lived most of his life in Beaminster, Dorset. He married local girl ANN ROBERTS in 1895, and they had 3 children: CONSTANCE SARAH NEWMAN(1896), JOHN WILLIAM ROBERTS NEWMAN(1897), and DOROTHY FLORENCE NEWMAN (1899).
