Wilkinsons of Barningham. (Aug 08 Red)
William Wilkinson b. Barningham c1868.Quarryman. Moved to Durham and married Margaret Jane McAdam. Had several children one of whom was my Grandad John William Wilkinson. John married Catherine Heel in 1909 in Bishop Auckland and moved to Middlesbrough where my mother Catherine was born. She was one of thirteen children. Are there any of our Wilkinsons left in Barningham at all? Or anyone who can fill me in on the sort of life William would have had before he moved to Durham.
