Barkingside Churchyard
(Jul 09
Red)
Can anyone tell me where Barkingside Churchyard is please? I assumed that it was the churchyard of Holy Trinity Barkingside but have had no luck in locating the grave of my great grandparents who were buried there in 1916 and 1923. Any help would be much appreciated.

Dr Barnardo's Girls Village Homes
(Jan 09 Green)
Any information about any inmates, staff or visitors at the homes at the time of the 1911 Census would be of interest. Has anyone a relative who recalls one Mary Ann Cooper - resident at the home from 1903 to 1913?
Best regards
Greg

Russell family
(Sep 08
Red)
Does anyone have any information about the Russell family that had a shop in Barkingside in the 1930's. It could have been a greengrocers but I'm not sure.
My Dad had three brothers. Alfred(orFred) ,Arthur, and Frank. It could have been any one of them. We lost touch with his family but I do remember he went to see his brother who had a shop in Barkingside.
Any help would be great.
