green mail Mary Ann ALLAN (Feb 09 Green)
Mary Ann Allan and John Ingram are the parents of my Great Grandmother Sophia Ingram who was born on 8.11.1844 in Banwell.I believe John's mother was called Sarah.I have been unable to find any mention on the census forms of either Mary Ann or John.Can anyone help please.Sophia married my Great Grandfather Henry Crook.

I am looking for the parents of Henry Horsington and Ann Waygood, who were born in Banwell and married there in 1828. Henry had also been married to Mercy Waygood, who was Ann's sister. Henry's family emigrated to Australia in 1852.

Any details of 'Webbs' of Banwell. They seem to have been there for hundreds of years. Particular interest is Charles Webb b c1860 ( father John Webb journeyman miller) who moved to Clandown and then as a miner moved to Oakenshaw, County Durham, where he died in the 1930s. Do you have any information on these Banwell Beacham families? *************** William Beacham marries Ruth sometime before 1734. I can't find the wedding. They have 6 children between 1734 and 1748 baptised in Banwell. The last child baptised in 1748 is while Ruth is a widow. There is a burial: 1745 Aug 4 William Beacham. *************** 1748 Wick St. Lawrence Mar 30 Richard Beacham and Merium White. They marry in Wick St Lawrence. 1750 Mar 25 Richard son of Richard and Merium Beacham. They have a son in Banwell. 1755 Miriam of Richard & Miriam Beacham baptised. They have a daughter in Congresbury. ************** 1749 Mar 25 James Beacham and Elizabeth Bartlett marry in Banwell. They have 4 children baptised in Banwell from 1753 to 1760. ************** Charles

Looking for Sylvia May Thorne or descendants known to be living in Banwell Nov 1951,known to have been widowed shortly before. .Three children eldest Geoffrey,another son and a daughter.Believe Sylvia was born in Wrington and later moved to Oxford for short time before marrying John Thorne and moving to Banwell.

Between 1851 and 1858 a Charlotte Parkin living in Banwell as a Servant married John Coome (Coombe?) a farmer in Banwell. I cannot find the marriage details and hope someone may have knowledge of this family. Heather
