Jeffries and spouses (Feb 09 Red)
Greetings the First ancester I have moving to AxBridge was Jesse Jeffries born May of 1773 and His Wife Mary Brooks also of Cheddar, their son Jesse was born 1801 in Axbridge and Married Sarah young, their Son Jesse(1824) Married Ellen Criddle born 1829 both of Axbridge. these two along with Ellens brother James and another of the Jeffries boys all emigrated to the US about 1850. What I am looking for is Jeffries history, especially prior to 1773, but stories always welcome and history for the spouses. I have found Ellens Father and Mother but Mother of Ellen was a Frances Nepper (1810) and I can't find her people at all! I have the family history down to present for those looking for jeffries relations. thank you!

My great grandmother, Flora Gullick, died in Axbridge in 1926. Her husband's name was Oliver (originally from Writhlington). The family had moved to Axbridge from either Butcombe or Bristol. Any information about Flora or other Gullicks in the Axbridge area would be much appreciated.

Hi all, seeking info on my grandmother and grandfather, Mary E Day maiden name Cross, born approxx 1905 ish, married John S Day in 1930, had child in feb 1933 (Josephine may Day) Mary passed away just a few years after my mother Josephine was born approx 1937 ish, this is all i know of my history just these few names and dates, please can you help, does any of these name ring any bells with you? or can you give me somedetails of grave yards in and around the Axbridge area as i would dearly love to visit my grandmothers resting place and pay my respects, so any help would be fantastic,
