am trying to find the marriage record of george down b.1813 devon and gertrude b.1813 south weald, their children were all born in aveley george 1836, eliz 1839, richard 1840. so did they marry in aveley.?

Born in Aveley 1829. Info required on his parents, siblings, etc. married Rachel Cole of Purfleet. Both moved to Grays.

OVERALL SCALES (Jul 06 Green)
Jesse OVERALL who had married Sarah SCALES at Maldon on 12 Mar. 1827 moved to Aveley with their son George and daughter Mary. They appear in the 1841 Census at Aveley. In 1845 a son Henry was born at Aveley. Jesse was a field worker. In 1849 they emigrated to South Australia on the "Duke of Wellington". Sarah was pregnant during the voyage, and their final child, Charles Theodore was born in Adelaide. Jesse died at Belvidere near Strathalbyn 18 June 1886, Sarah having died in Adelaide 24 Nov. 1881. Retired from R N Ordnance sevice to Aveley in 1844 died in 1852.Wife Frances nee Moment survived him.Seeking correct surname for married daughter-obscured in the census return. Have also failed to find details on some of his children. Next Door neighbour Rev.Marsh White Vicar of Aveley,no known connection!
