Looking for information on the Hill family of Ashwick. Daughter of the family, Elizabeth Jane, wasa born in 1862, married to Charlie Wareham in Redhill, where they had another member of the Hill family, John, living with them.

We are trying find more about Fanny Norman our 2nd great grandmother. She married a Henry Dorse about 1845. Her parents were ? James and Elizabeth Norman of Ashwick or thereabouts in Somerset. We were particularly interested in her mothers maiden name.

Stoke St Michael. Older son James Ernest b. 1867 in Nettlebridge. any help you can give me very gratefully received!

I am looking for descendents of John Randall who was born in Ashwick circa 1803, he married Rachel Chapman on 4 May 1820 in Shepton Mallet,they 11 children all baptised in Ashwick: John b.03/04/1821,James b.27/08/1823,Gabriel b.15/12/1827,Henry b.15/12/1827,James b.21/06/1829,David b.16/12/1830,Matilda b.17/7/1832,Alfred b.16/06/1835 d.08/01/1839,Elizabeth bapt 7/04/1839,William bapt 04/03/1840. My great great grandfather is Henry who moved to Caerphilly circa 1840, John is also recorded on the 1881 census for Wales as a widower living with Elizabeth Vowles widow aged 45 also of Ashwick.
