green mail Lukers of Berkshire (Jun 09 Green)
I am tracing my husband's family and find that both his paternal grandparent were descended from the Lukers in Berkshire, but separate strains. I have plenty of documentation on the Faringdon Lukers, but have come to a halt with the ones from Appleton. I have got as far as Thomas Luker (1798/9) and know that his father was either John or Joseph Luker. Any help much appreciated.

red mail Enoch - Smith (Jul 04 Red)
Looking for information about Charles Enoch born 1871 in Appleton, and lived in The Plough, Appleton, with his mother and grandfater in 1881. He later became known as Enoch Smith, as a result of a mistake by a person who registered him for ?education/apprentiship etc. Cannot find another trace of him until he married in Mansfield in 1923, any help would be appreciated.
