green mail Abraham Burbidge (Dec 06 Green)
My first entry was incomplete. Abraham was a farmer until he sold the farm, Ox Hayes, in 1870. In 1880 he sailed to Algoa Bay, now Port Elizabeth, leaving his wife,Sarah, and son, Henry, at S's mother's in Birmingham. We know he arrived there, but there is no trace of him after that, and I wonder if anyone out there has information concerning him.
