Crumpler Family (Jan 08 Green)
Does anyone have any information on the above family, I have in my tree a John Crumpler born about 1610 in Almer, he married in 1639 to a Julia(n) Squibbe at Winterborne Kingston. They had one son also John born about 1640 died 1723. It is down this family that eventually married a a Stickland who in turn married a Howe that I am descended. Would be glad to hear from anyone. MANUEL FAMILY (Aug 05 Red)
THOMAS MANUEL married MARY MEW/NEW IN 1817. Son ELIJAH (Born c 1827, died 1860) married MARY COAKES 1852, daughter of MERRICK COAKES AND ELIZABETH STICKLEY. Grandson EDWIN MANUEL (Born 1852, died 1924) married LUCRETIA LAMBERT (daughter of WILLIAM LAMBERT AND ELIZABETH MOORE of Wimborne). All around Almer, Winterborne Zelston, Morden areas. THE BARTLETT FAMILY (Aug 05 Green)
William Bartlett married Elizabeth Knight in Almer on 25 Apr 1786. No Bartletts or Knights were baptized in the village before this date; does anyone know where they moved from? The family stayed around the village until the 1860s and William Jnr and his family of ten children lived at Millers Farm in Morden. Any news of these?
