My gt gt gt grandmother Sarah Wood and her brothers were born in Allonby between 1806 and 1821. The Wood brothers were in the shipping business in Maryport. My gt gt gt grandmother's nephew Robert Wood born in Maryport 1834 married the sister of Thomas H Ismay, owner of White Star Lines. Any other relatives of the Allonby/Maryport Woods out there?
