John Doust was a freeman wheelwright in (Allington)All Cannings when his son Charles (a coachman who moved to Coventry where he married Mary Large in 1817, and then to Birmingham where he died in 1867) was born in 1794, apparently married to Elizabeth. Any ideas as to John's forbears? His second wife was Mary Manning.
