Particularly interested in John Clinch Mant b. 1775 in Pagham (son of Timothy Mant and Martha Mant), his son James Clinch b. 1808 Aldingbourne AKA James Mant, and his son John Mant baptised in Aldingbourne in 1885 as 'the son of James Clinch or Mant'. And also Henry Mant Willis, born 1855 possibly in South Bersted who reported the death of his mother, Sarah Willis (also Jones, perhaps Mant, born in South Bersted in 1831) in 1877.

I am looking for information on Ernest Sidney Peachey b c 1892 (son of Walter and Leovinia Peachey) married Edith Berry (Granddaughter of Moses Berry) on 18th March 1912.
Ernest S and Edith's children were:
May (believed to be eldest, but was brought up by her grandparents); Percival; Thomas W b 1920; Winifred E b 1919; Kathleen M b 1915 married William Sadler; Edith b 1917; Dorothy S b 1928 and Margaret b 1930

Osbornes of Aldingbourne

My great-great grandparents George and Lucy Osborne lived and died in Aldingbourne/Eastergate/ westergate and are burried in Aldingbourne churchyard. I am trying to trace where George came from. He is down as coming from Ambersham Hampshire or Easebourne but I can find no trace of him prior to his marriage to widow Lucy. Can anyone help?

Samuel Simmons b1844 (Iford,Sussex) married Eliza Allen in 1868 Aldingbourne, they produced Elizabeth, Frank, Samuel, Thomas, Arthur, Harry, John, Richard Frederick, William & May. The family moved to Shripney to take over 'The Robin Hood' PH. Samuel died 1908.
