Researching the Snelson families of Abthorpe, descending from William Snelson b c1710. I'd be very interested if any knows anything of William's parentage, but I think this a brick wall for everyone.

Louisa Allington (Sep 08 Red)
Looking for Louisa Allington b1863c. She ran off to London to marry an older man James Mitchell b1849. Family legend has it that she once worked in Althorpe House. Perhaps the spellings over the years have transposed from Abthorpe. Any info on the Allington's would be appreciated. Thanks Jane
