I live in South Australia and have been interested in genealogy & family history since 1965. Over the past 40+ years I have gathered a considerable amount of information about my wife's and my own family history. All of our ancestors emigrated to South Australia directly from Great Britain in the period 1837-1880.
In many ways I have tried to contribute back to the study and advancement of genealogy. I am as co-founder and past-President of the South Australian Genealogy & Heraldry Society, am a member and Past-President of the Pioneers Association of South Australia, and a Vice-President of the Angaston & Penrice Historical Society here in the Barossa Valley, where we reside.
I have lectured/given addresses to various genealogical seminars and taught adult family history. Assisting other people to make genealogical discoveries and advancement provides me with pleasure and enjoyment.
