McLeod
Hi, I have finally got round to looking at the 1911 census, and have found out that my great grandparents had 2 children that died. I know about one of them and that he was buried in St Peters cemetary in Aberdeen, but I am having trouble finding out the name of the other child. I have been on deceasedonline, and checked between 1902 and 1911 for names that have appeared in the family before, but have had no luck. Has anyone got any ideas as to where I can go from here? The surname I am looking for is McLeod, and the parents names were John Garland McLeod and Catherine Cowie McLeod (nee Farquharson).

My great grandparents married in 1902, but their marriage certificate says their usual address was Links Street, Aberdeen, but by the 1911 census they were in Albion Street. Their first child was born 9 months afterwards in York Street! Even when another of their children was born in 1910 they were still in York Street , and obviously moved after April 1910. I do know that my gg granddad was buried in St Peters (and his wife remarried and moved to Canada), along with his mother and some other person! My great grandparents died in Clydebank and Johnstone.

If anyone has any ideas as to how I can find out the name of the child I would be grateful as I am banging my head against a brick wall at the moment! Thank you!
