Sarah Whennell
Born 1771 and married to Scrymgeour Hewett in 1795. I don't know when she died. Her father James (my 5xggfather) owned fishing boats and was married to another Sarah? I'd love to know more of these good folk. Any help much appreciated.
I'm an expat Scot living in Norfolk, making occasional forays north to my "homeland" of Aberdeenshire. I'm interested in the areas of Leochel Cushnie, Logie Coldstone and Strathdon. Family names include Michie, Dunbar, Gordon and George. We've got back to some of my 5xgreat grandparents and even to one set who are 9x ggps in the early 1600's - Ettershanks and Raes. Very exciting! There are many other names in my tree but they nearly all lived between the Don and Dee valleys, tho some are from Banffshire.
