Rochester name in matfen
I am looking to find out about the Rochester family who came from Matfen.... I know my grandfather was brought up there Thomas Rowland Rochester....His mother was known as Annie of matfen cottages...he left home when he was 12-14yrs old...Annie moved to wallsend and wa killed in a car accident on the old coast raod going into newcastle.Annie was married twice as far as i have found out n she is buried in near to wallsend.
