Hagan Family History

james Hagan and sarah lester - Caledon, County Tyrone
James Hagan emigrated to Australia in 1838 with his wife Sarah (Lester) and children William b 1836 and James b. 1838. His parents were Thomas Hagan an overseer on the Ulster canal, and Hannah Marley. Sarah's parents were William Lester a farmer and Rebecca Haddock who was a quaker. The Lesters were from Armagh and lived in Palnagh House, Killylea. I would like to hear from any members of these families.

Hagan family/ Middlesbrough + Bishop Auckland - Bishop Auckland, Durham
Timothy Hagan born Guisborough Yorkshire. Moved to Bishop Auckland before 1851 census. Had several children including Mary Ellen, James,Edward, Margaret J, Elizabeth A etc. I know there are still Hagans there. Does anyone have any info on James Hagan (my grandfather).

Timothy Hagan - Guisborough, Yorkshire, North Riding
According to all of the census records, Timothy was born in Guisborough, Yorkshire in 1842/3. However I cannot find ther details of his birth anywhere. Please can anyone out there help me?

My ancestors came from Armagh/Tyrone and were James and Sarah (nee lester)Hagan and their two sons arrived aboard the 'Mandarin' ship from Belfast as free settlers. They arrived in 1838 in Sydney Australia and settled in New South Wales where they had 6 more children. Can anyone identify these people for me particularly their Irish ancestors and current descendents.

Any information re WILLIAM Hagan bc.1837 in Fermoy. Came to Australia either forceably or of his own free will, not sure which. Married Sarah Anne MILLER 1860, at Sandhurst Victoria.

My Grtgrt Grandparents - County Tyrone, County Tyrone
Looking for info on the Hagan family. On the English 1871 Census James Hagan and his wife Rosey children Francis Mary all born Ireland said they originated from County Tyrone James had a sister Mary who was married to Francis Gallagher also from Ireland James Hagans mother was called Catherine. James wife Rosey Hagan her maiden name was Malaghan. (on all surnames I have found numerous ways of them being spelt) Been looking for a long time so any info would be welcome thanks Sharon
