CALDWELL AND VERNON AT SLIGO GRAMMAR SCHOOL - Sligo, Sligeach, County Sligo
I wonder if anyone knows anything about the family in charge of Sligo Grammar School around 1911. The headmaster was Alexander Somerville CALDWELL, born in Wilmslow Cheshire in June 1873 , but married in 1908-9 to local Sligo girl Margaret Louisa VERNON, born in 1885. In 1911 they were living at house number 4.1 in Rathquarter (Sligo North (Urban), Sligo) with their two young children William and Frederick, with servants Charlotte Cragg, Bridgett Gaughan, Elizabeth Margaret McCarrick, Winifred Carvey and Julia Ann O'Brien.
