George Caines b. 1793 Oldland and Elizabeth who (Gulley???) b. abt 1795 Atherington, Devon - Warmley
Does anyone have knowledge of a marriage between George Caines b. 1793 and Elizabeth, I believe her surname could have been Gulley, and born about 1793/5 in Atherington, Devon, the marriage could have taken place ANYWHERE. Have you got them in your family tree, they had several children. George came from Warmley, Oldland area and Elizabeth from Atherington/Chittlehampton, Devon. On 1841 census there was a son George Caines born abt, 1827-29 living with the family in Cheltenham, but according to 1841 census he was not born in Gloucestershire, do you know where he might have been born, and what happened to him? Dont seem to be able to find him again. Can anyone help, thank you.

Caines - Swansea
Looking for info on Arthur Caines (BMD unknown) married to Beatrice (last name, BMD unknown). They had 4 children - Stanley (reportedly a Zero pilot during WWII who was shot down and died in a POW camp in Japan), Dennis Lawson (born Jun 22, 1922 in Sketty), Elizabeth (Betty) and Doreen. Anyone have any info on Arthur and Beatrice? Only info I have is on Dennis Lawson who married Doris John on Dec 7 1941 and moved to Canada in the mid 1960s. 2x great grandaughter looking to fill in blanks in the family tree. Thanks.

Caines - Dewlish
I am looking for any info on the Caines family.
Charles, wife Jane, children Louisa, Edith Mary, and Reuben, The children were all born at Dewlish.
Also Edith Caines (granddaughter of Charles and Jane), who were her parents? She was born approx 1876.Does anyone have any idea of Jane's maiden name? Any info. no matter if it seems insignificant as I am STUCK.
Does anyone know about the ghost that is supposed to haunt the bend known as Betsy Caines corner?
is there any link between the corner andmy husband's family??????

Please can anyone help me?
I am looking for info on CHARLES Caines BORN 1834
believed to be born at Hilton and his wife Jane who was from Cheselbourne,she was born in 1826.
I would like to know Jane's maiden name, also any info on their children, Edith Mary, Reuben and James. On the 1881 census there is an entry for Edith Caines who was born in 1876 and she was Charles and Jane's granddaughter. I would like to know who her parents were.
