Cahill/McCahill - Crosserlough, County Cavan
My ancestor Terence Cahill was born in about 1808 in County Cavan, believed around Crosserlough. His son Patrick was born in Killytogher townland of that parish in 1846. I have reason to believe Terence's mother's name was Margaret, and he had a brother named Bernard and a sister named Rose. The surname there sometimes appears as McCahill, which was the original spelling of the name in that location.
