Looking for the family of Elizabeth CLAPTON, believed to have been born circa 1785. She married John Adlington in April 1806 in Tottenham, Middlsex, where she apent the rest of her married life.
Elizabeth had a niece, Mary CAPP b. circa 1813, but nothing known about how Mary connects with Elizabeth.

Looking for info relating to John Adlington (1809 - 1873). In 1841 John was living with wife, Elizabeth & children, Frederick & Elizabeth. In 1851 he is widowed, no trace of the children. 1861 sees him married to Mary & by 1871 he is widowed again. Sometime before 1861 he is appointed Master of Edmonton Union Workhouse.
