Elizabeth Fernie b 25 May 1802, Strathmiglo, Fife became 1st Post-Mistress. They had five sons and three daughters.
The oldest son was William Adam b 13 May 1828 Errol d 1897 Dundalk Ireland, married Mary Spiers in Glasgow 17 Nov 1854. Had three daughters Isabella Galoway Adam b 24 May 1855, Elizabeth Fernie Adam b 7 October 1857 and Mary Adam b 18 October 1859. Mary Adam married Robert Huggins 11 Mar 1886 Errol, Perthshire.

hi i'm trying to find out anything about my greatgrand father his name was Adam white born 1887 we think in jarrow but we know in the durham area but have tried many searches and have drawn a blank so if anyone can help please do not sure if he was an orphan but he did move to swansea thats all we have until he married my greatgrand mother
