I believe my ancestor, Abram Holt, owned The Barley Mow as he was listed in the 1853 White's Directory. His children include: Elizabeth, born possibly about 1821; John and Sara. Any help would be tremendously appreciated. I am in the US. Thanks so much.

Abram Holt of Holt and Bedford at 36 Quarry Hill is my relative and I would love to find another descendant. They were listed in the 1838 White's Directory. Abram's children included Elizabeth, born possibly about 1821, and John and Sara. Thanks for any help.

DAVIES and JONES, Abram and ABRAHAM - Wrexham, Wrecsam, Denbighshire
My great grandmother was born Harriet Davies (Davis)in Esclusham Above, a village near Wrexham in 1852. She was the daughter of James Davies & Barbara Jones and with her parents moved to Co. Durham during the 1870's. Barbara was the daughter of Richard Jones and Barbara Abram/s or Abraham/s. Richard and Barbara lived and raised their family in a home known as "Mutton Hall" (in the village of "Esclusham Above" District of Minera). I have current photographs of the ruins of this old stone farmhouse which the family still inhabited until at least 1891. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has links to any of these families or to the district. Carol in Australia
