Abell - Alphington/Exeter area - Alphington, Devon
I seek information on Mary Abell of Alphington whose will was proved in April 1835, on her late husband (Francis Abell?), on her elder son Francis Tillet Abell who became Mayor of Colchester, and particularly information on her son Edward Abell, who was educated at Exeter, joined the Madras Army of the East India Company in 1811, resigned about 1816 and married Lucia Elizabeth Balcombe, late of St Helena, at Exminster in 1822.
