David Roberts b. abt. 1833 Corwen
- Corwen
The husband of EMMA.b abt.1840. Children were RICHARD b 1865; DAVID b 1873: MARY E. b 1876; EMMA L. b 1880 and their second son ROBERT, b 1870 in Corwen. My grandfather was Robert but as he didn't keep in touch with his family, I only have his given age from his marriage certificate and the 1901 census. Also from his M.C. he gives his father's name as 'David'.
Robert moved to Cumberland around 1900 where he msrried Jane Ellen Pritchard and they remained there until they died.
It is the other descendants of David and Emma whom I seek to confirn if I am on the right 'tree'or not! They lived on Brook Street, Corwen, with their children,in 1871 and 1881 then on London Road in 1891.
So if YOU are descended from the ROBERT in this family, please let me know as I could be about to jump on the wrong 'tree' !
Thanks a lot

Richard & William Barnard
- Corwen
Please, can anyone help me? I am trying to find some records for my great grandfather, William Barnard. The 1901 census shows that he was 33 years old (b 1868 in Lansantffraid). I have also found a record that he died in 1910 in Corwen. I have been unable to find any record of his birth.
I have a marriage certificate showing that he married Mary Ellen Roberts in 1897 and his father is shown as Richard Barnard (deceased). William and Mary Ellen had a daughter Elizabeth Ellenor (b 1898) who was my grandmother.
I cannot find any record of William on the 1881 or 1891 census returns. On the 1871 census, I have found a William Barnard born in Llansantffraid, son of Richard and Elizabeth, but his date of birth is about 1862. Similarly, I cannot find any record of Richard Barnard.
If anybody can put me on the right track or has any information I would be most grateful.

Morgan/Williams Family in Ffestiniog?
- Ffestiniog
My husband's mother's family came from Wales around 1865. It is said that they came from Ffestiniog. John Morgan b. btwn 1826-1833 married to Margaret Williams? b. abt. 1835. They had two children who were born in Wales: John abt. 1863 and Mary A. b. abt 1864. Evan, Sara, Thomas, Elizabeth, William and David were born in Wisconsin USA.
The family story, which may have become garbled with time, says that John Sr. was baptized in what sounds like Rosashir in a Methodist church in an area called Kendall. I have not been able to locate anything close.
Any help or suggestions regarding finding this Morgan family or general data would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Eelia
