Looking to trace my 'cousin by adoption' - will be about 60 by now? Was adopted by Martha/Mattie MacMillan, who then married Edward Mullen. Sadly she died back in about 1963 (Don about 16 (?) then - or maybe was older, cannot remember) I think he used to live in London, but that was decades ago. I remember him visiting us in Scotland around 1956(?)- his adopted Mum was my father's baby sister, and remember the adults going out for - New Year? - and singing down the road. Would be nice to contact him again. Been doing my family's genealogy and sparked the memory of him. Hope his life turned out nice for him.

I am trying to find Robert JM Wilson and his brothers Harry, and William. Their mothers name is Ann Wilson who died in 1957 at Abington St. The boys at that time were 12, 10, and 8 respectively. I know that Harry married in 1970 to a lady named Ida, in Govan. But have not been able to locate them from there. My 3xGreat grandmother was Isabella Murray. She married Henry White at St Marys Church Reading on 18.2.1827 Their first 2 children Charles and Harriet Matilda(my great great grandmother) were born in Reading and then the family moved to the Spitalfields area of London where Mary, Jane and Elizabeth were born. They all worked as Silk handloom weavers. I know Isabella was born in Glasgow in about 1808/9, from information she gave for census between 1851 ans 1881. I do not know whether Isabella was in Reading alone or with her Family, and would love to know more about her and about them too. One of the witnesses at Isabella and Henrys marriage was Mary Murray, who could have been Isabellas mother.Can anyone help me with any information.
