My 3xGreat grandmother was Isabella Murray. She married Henry White at St Marys Church Reading on 18.2.1827 Their first 2 children Charles and Harriet Matilda(my great great grandmother) were born in Reading and then the family moved to the Spitalfields area of London where Mary, Jane and Elizabeth were born. They all worked as Silk handloom weavers. I know Isabella was born in Glasgow in about 1808/9, from information she gave for census between 1851 ans 1881. I do not know whether Isabella was in Reading alone or with her Family, and would love to know more about her and about them too. One of the witnesses at Isabella and Henrys marriage was Mary Murray, who could have been Isabellas mother.Can anyone help me with any information.

I am trying to find information on my great great grandfather, Alexander Fraser THOMSON, born in July 1841 in New Deer. We believe there is a connection with Glasgow. He may have been a constable there at one time. His death is a bit of a mystery and I am trying to find when he died and where he is buried. He married Henrietta Martin MCLEAN in 1866 in Edinburgh. Hello. CHARLES SMITH DONALD, born Glasgow on 24/12/1855. Son of ALEXANDER DONALD and MARJORY SMITH. Occupation was Baptist Minister. 1891 census shows Charles and his wife AGNES living in Govan, Glasgow. I can find no trace of Charles in Scotland or England in 1901 census; family knowledge states he visited his relatives in Co Durham, England some time in late 1930's or early 1940's. He is reported to have lived in Antrimville Manse, Belfast, N Ireland at some time but dates not known. Does anyone know where Charles and Agnes were from 1901 onwards and does anyone have any pictures or information on Antrimville Manse. Any information greatly appreciated. Thank you
