David Smith died at Luthermuir in 1853. He was originally married to Ann Mill/Milne at Rescobie, Angus in 1817. After Ann died about 1824, David married Ann Ross in Marykirk parish, Kincardineshire. David has served in the Royal Horse Artillery Drivers from 1804 to 1814 and reputedly took part in the siege of Badajoz in 1812.

William Fincher & Barbara Garden

William FINCHER married Barbara GARDEN on the 8th April, 1826 at Nigg, Kincardineshire. Barbara (ca. 1802) was the daughter of Alexander GARDEN and Helen HILL. She was baptised in Kemnay, Aberdeenshire.
William FINCHER, however, was born in England. But where? He was born around December 1801 and worked as a Stone Dresser.
They had nine children all born in Newhills or Old Machar, Aberdeenshire.

Searching for any details of James Ogg born Fordoun 1802. Son of George Ogg and Isobel Malcom(Isabella Malcolm). Married Agnes Falconer and known children were George c.1828, James 1830, John c.1833 and Helen c.1837(I have seen Helen's grave in St Cyrus - she married Kenneth Macrae). James 1802 died at Lauriston Castle Lodge in 1887. James 1830 was the father of James Graham Ogg 1851 illegitimately by Isabella Graham. James Graham Ogg is my great grandfather. Isabella Graham went on to marry Adam Scott and James 1830 married Isabella Shepherd, a widow and on her death another widow, Sarah Edward. James Graham Ogg was brought up by his grandparents, James Graham and Ann Hutcheon. He married Catherine Stewart, the daughter of James Stewart and Ann McBain. They moved to Crossford, Dunfermline and then to the coalfields of East Lothian where in 1904 he died. Any help with any of these relatives would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for information on my great grandfather, Edward Stuart MacKenzie, he was born in 1863 or 1865 along with his twin brother Alexander, he also has siblings Mary, Thomas, William, Elizabeth and Agnes. His father was James or John and his mother was Ann or Agnes, she died several years after his birth and his father remarried to an Agnes ?. My g g grandfather supposedly worked at Castle Douglas.
My great grandfather married Janet Lees, daughter of David and Janet Lees of Lanarkshire, date unknown. They immigrated to Canada in 1927.
If anyone has any information that could help me in finding my MacKenzie roots that would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for any information regarding James Duncan. According to the 1881 and 1901 census returns, he was born at Bervie, Kincardineshire 1850. He married Esther O'Brian about 1872 (probably in Dundee) and by 1901 they lived at 44 Annfield Road, Dundee (Liff and Benvie district) with their children.
Any information regarding his baptism, marriage and the other census entries would be appreciated, especially the names of his parents.
