Alexander McDonald x Marion McLean - Portree
Looking for Alexander McDonald born about 1811, who married Marion McLean, born about 1819. They immigrated to Nova Scotia, Canada, where they raised their children. Children were: Catherine,b 1846; John,b 1849; Donald, b 1852; Duncan, b 1855; Mary Jane, b 1857; Annie, b 1861.
These dates are + or - 2 years, as the census does'nt seem accurate. Annie's headstone has her being born in 1867, not 1861.

I would like to gather information regarding Duncan McInnes (MacInnes). He was born on the Isle of Sky, Scotland c1826. He married Ann Morrison in Snizort, Isle of Sky, Scotland, in 1849. The ship the "Georgana" arrived at Point Henry, Victoria, Australia, in 1852.

MacLeod and MacDonald - Spean Bridge
Looking for any information on my grandparents Alexander MacDonald (b 1860/70? d. 1946?) and Catherine MacLeod (b. 1897, d. 1942). I have been given information on the MacLeod side taking me back a few generations, but no firm dates. I have very little information on the MacDonald side. I have been told the family lived in Spean Bridge area for at least 4 generations.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking for information re my grandfather, Alexander Anthony Cameron,also known as 'The Mighty Mucomir'. He was born around 1875 at Dochanassie,Spean Bridge and married my grandmother, Peggy MacNeil 1919/1920.
He was a Highland Games champion from 1900-1915.
His mother was a MacMillan from Corpach or Caol.His father was Archibald Cameron. He died in 1951 and is buried in Kilmonivaig churchyard

Seeking to confirm death of William Grant Schoolmaster from 1732 living Carnoch, Wife Elizabeth Leslie, Children 1743 Mary Grant, 1744 William Grant, 1744 James Grant, then William Grant Schoolmaster was Trnsported to Barbados, returned 1751, had another child of wife Elizabeth Leslie 1752 - no further Baptisms, family said to have left the Glen, except Mary who married Mackenzie of Achin marag, with issue John & Ewan Mc kenzie.
Elizabeth Leslie born circa 1721, has anyone seen gravestone for William Grant in Kirkyard Urquhart dated 1760 suggested date of his death
