Penman,Simpson, Bogie,Smart

Christian Penman nee Ramsay died in 1908 in Lochgelly, Fife at the home of her daughter, Isabella Smart,(married John Smart 1871 ). I have a picture of Isabella ; one of Christina and her eldest daughter, Betsy Simpson(married John Simpson 1860) and one of brother, Richard Penman, who went to England and became a policeman. For a "full set" I need a picture of Christian Bogie nee Penman(married David Bogie 1866) and one of Jeanie/ Jane Simpson nee Penman(married Robert Simpson 1872). Be thrilled if anyone can oblige. My great granmother was Anne (or Annie) McMahon. I believe that she died in or near Lochgelly in Scotland in about 1950. Her husband, William and her daughter Annie, who was my grandmother, came to Australia in about 1913. I would love to know the story of my grandmother and her family. One of my ancestors was Annie Robb born about 1799 in Logie, daughter of John Robb and Lilias. They lived at Jerah, which appears to be a farm settlement high above Logie. She married Daniel Forbes of Auchterarder.
Lilias' parents were William Anderson and Lilias Stirling of Muthill.
John Robb is a little harder to be sure about but may be the son born 1769 of John Robb and Mary Dewar. Any information or connections would be very welcome.

I'd welcome any info on Bethune/Beaton families in Fife (and their many spelling variations!). I have lots of information on Bethunes, sorted into family groupings, and will happily exchange details with other researchers.
I'm stuck on Robert Bethune b 1756-57 who married Christian Colvill (of Dysart) on 27 June 1783 at Markinch. These folks, my husband's 4xgr-grandparents, lived at Westend of Star(r) of Markinch where Robert was a linenweaver.

I'm looking for descendants of this couple who were married in Cameron, Fife in May of 1869. Their known children were, William (b. 1869), Maggie (b. 1871), James (b. 1874), Catherine (b. 1881), Robert (b. 1886), and Jane (b. ca. 1888). William was born in Cameron Bridge, Cath was born in Kennoway, and Robert was born in Wemyss. The others were born in Markinch. Maggie married Henry Mackie in 1899, Cath died in 1897, Robert married Henrietta Dempsey in 1920 (and I believe she died that same year), and Jane married Alexander Millar in 1914. I would love to contact cousins from this family.

Their known children were, Catherine (b. 1864), Andrew (b. 1866), Janet (b. 1867), William (b. 1870), Thomas (b. 1872), Henry (b. 1874), James (ca. 1877), Cecilia Brown (ca. 1879), and Agnes (b. ca. 1880). Andrew was born in Wemyss, but all the other children were born in Markinch. William married Elizabeth Brown Dunsire in Buckhaven in 1890. Thomas married Janet Steele in Edinburgh in 1899. Cecilia B. married Robert Todd in 1907 in Methil. I would love to contact cousins from this family.

I am hoping the process of elimination may be able to help me, I have two birth entries for James Morris in 1819 in the Parish of Pittenweem (the parents of the first James are Robert Morris and Janet Lindsay; the parents of the second are Alexander Morris and Zenney Morris). According to the birth certificate of Agnes Campbell Morris born Bridgeton, Glasgow 1855 her father was James Morris, Ship Master born at Pittenween, he married Barbara Campbell in 1838, maybe someone out there is able to tell me which James Morris is the one that doesn't belong to my family tree.

I am trying to locate Alec's grave, presumably in Rosyth or Inverkeithing and any other information about him. Alec was born in about 1900 and probably died between 1965 and 1985. The family may also have lived in Crossford and Springfield. David born in Lanark and Mary in Salcombe,Devon.
